Who we are
IDReady.ai is an online service that transforms a self-portrait into an ID photo compliant with the ICAO 9303 biometric standard, valid worldwide for passport, visa, national ID card, driving licence and residence permit applications.
What you get
- Digital plan — a high-resolution JPEG at the exact dimensions required by your document type, ready to upload to any government online portal.
- Digital + printable plan — the same JPEG plus a 10×15 cm / 4×6 in printable sheet containing multiple identical photos, ready for any photo lab or home printer.
Price
The current price is €5.90 (promotional price; regular price €9.90). Payments are processed by Stripe. VAT, where applicable, is included.
Free preview
You can generate and preview the photo before paying. You may retake the selfie as many times as you need. Payment is only requested once you confirm you are satisfied with the preview.
Compliance guarantee
The output is generated to the ICAO 9303 biometric standard. If a government office rejects the photo for a technical reason attributable to the file we produced, we refund the full amount paid upon presentation of the rejection notice, within 30 days of purchase. This guarantee does not cover reasons unrelated to the photo itself (missing documents, missed appointment, expired application, etc.).
Right of withdrawal
Because the digital content is generated and delivered immediately upon payment, in line with EU Directive 2011/83/EU art. 16(m) the right of withdrawal is waived at the moment of purchase confirmation. The compliance guarantee above remains in force.
Acceptable use
You must upload a photo of yourself, or of a person whose consent you hold (e.g. your minor child). You must not upload photos of third parties without their consent, nor use the service to produce photos for fraudulent purposes. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service in case of abuse.
Intellectual property
The photo you upload remains yours. The generated ID photo is licensed to you for personal use with public authorities and any legitimate use requiring an ID photo. The IDReady.ai brand, code and design remain the property of IDReady.
Liability
IDReady.ai is provided "as is". Our liability is limited, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, to the amount paid for the service. We are not liable for indirect damages such as missed appointments or delayed applications.

Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the applicable local law of the consumer's residence for mandatory consumer-protection rules.
